The Inspiration Lab has specialised software, studio space and equipment to help you create and experiment with traditional and digital media. Studios, equipment and computers within the Inspiration Lab are available for booking. 

The Inspiration Lab is open during regular Central library hours.

Bookings can be made to a maximum of 3 hours per day. We recommend giving yourself 30 minutes to save your project or work.

Bookings can be made two weeks in advance.

What can you make there?

• create audio recordings in one of five recording studios
• create and edit video recordings
• convert VHS, audio cassettes, 8mm VHS, photographs and slides to digital files
• use graphic design and photo editing software
• create eBooks
• green screen
