Christmas Tree Disposal

After January 1, many people take down their Christmas trees. If you have a live tree, you’ll need to dispose of it.

You cannot just drag your tree down to the recycling room and abandon it there. You need to take measures for disposing of it properly.

They include:

  • dropping it off at one of these locations to be chipped
  • purchasing a sticker from Tami for $10 so the co-op can dispose of it.

Again, please DO NOT ABANDON YOUR CHRISTMAS TREES IN THE RECYCLING ROOM. You will be fined.

If you do choose to purchase a sticker from Tami and leave your tree in the recycling room (make sure to leave your sticker on it so the Maintenance Committee knows that tree is paid for), then please make sure you clean up after yourself. Vacuum up the trail of dead pine needles.

Thank you! Let’s cooperate with our neighbours and not make more expense and work for the maintenance committee.
