Great news, Co-op members!
A few months back, we applied for a Neighborhood Grant from Gordon Neighborhood House, and our application to create a community kitchen was accepted!
The idea of community kitchen is that it saves both money and time. Members will meet once a month for an afternoon, and cook delicious, healthy meals in bulk, which they will then be able to take home with them to share with their families.
The grant will go towards outfitting our Amenity Room kitchen with pots, pans and other things that we need to create our meals.
We will be organizing the first community kitchen in late August, to coincide with back-to-school.
