The kids will be out of school as of this weekend for 2+ weeks of vacation. If you don’t have any trips planned, there are lots of fun things to do around the city.

Lots of spring-related fun to be had this month in Vancouver. There’s Pi Day, St. Patrick’s Day, spring break for the kids, and hopefully lots of Cherry Blossoms!

You have a few options for recycling your live Christmas Tree.
Don’t forget to remove all tinsel and decorations!
Leave it in the recycling room, but you must first buy a sticker from Tami in 207A for $10.
City Chipping Events
In partnership with the Lion’s Club, residents are invited to bring their Christmas tree to a chipping event at any one of the locations shown below.
Donations of cash and non-perishable food will be accepted and distributed to local charities.
Tree chippings are taken to the Vancouver Landfill and turned into nutrient-rich compost.
Saturday, January 6 and Sunday, January 7, 10am to 5pm.

- Kitsilano Beach parking lot
(Cornwall Ave and Arbutus St)

We hope you’ve managed to eat all your turkey, and we anticipate that the exercise bikes on the 6th floor of A building will be starting to see more action than usual this month.
Here’s a list of some fun things that are happening around the city this month.
The Kids/Social committee is once again hosting a Christmas party! C’mon down, meet your neighbours, and share some holiday cheer.
We’ll have crafts for the kids, and treats for the grownups.
Please bring a snack to share!
